Craftsman, designer and artist, living in Isle-sur-la-Sorgue in Provence, Cécile Chappuis works with cardboard for architects, decorators, antique dealers, artists, art collectors and private clients.

Passionate about art history, architecture, and design, she revisits styles combining the inspiration of the Flemish school and the spirit of the Italian Renaissance with contemporary art.

“Luxury cardboard” or “couture cardboard” are the expressions used by her admirers to define her work of great precision with constantly renewed creativity. The pieces are made to measure, by hand, in recycled cardboard.
